Q: What about your children makes you laugh?
A:
My daughter likes to be Fancy Nancy. The other day she spilled hot chocolate on herself and said, "Oh no, now I am not fancy." Stuff like that makes me laugh. My son says "pusz" instead of saying "because," which is pretty funny.

Q: What is your favorite family ritual?
A:
I like hanging out at home and having Sunday dinner with the family and relaxing.

Q: What was your most frazzled mom moment?
A:
A while ago, I was flying into LAX with my two kids. While I was at the baggage claim, I was trying to balance the stroller with both of them in it and carry the bags, and there was just a lot going on. The stroller tipped over and the kids screamed, just because they were scared. But they were fine. This kind of thing happens to all moms, but it was one of those moments when some photographers were around. You just want to say, "Not now. I am a mom, not a celebrity."

Q: What parenting issue do you and your partner disagree most about?
A:
Probably about giving my kids sweet treats. I like to give them, but he would prefer I didn't.

Q: What is your parenting role: good cop or bad cop?
A:
Hmmm. We are pretty equal, but I guess I am the good cop.

Q: What do you wake up in the middle of the night thinking about?
A:
I don't wake up in the middle of the night.

Q: What do you wish you had done before you had children?
A:
Nothing. I feel like I did everything I wanted to do.

Q: What is a typical Saturday morning in your house like?
A:
I wake up around 6:00 or 6:30 a.m. and make egg-white omelets and toast. We usually watch cartoons, and I read the newspaper. We also sometimes go to the park. But if we do, I have to take my allergy medication, Zyrtec, so I don't have an allergy attack.

Q: What was your mom most right about?
A:
My mom died when I was very young, but I do remember that when I was young I worried about making friends. And she told me that she had a feeling that I wouldn't have a problem making friends in the future. And I think she was right.
