"We had four hours to shoot, and time moves pretty fast with kids on set. We tailor the shoot around the kids' schedules—their eating and sleeping habits," Kirby said. "It's nerve-racking because we have such a small window. It's not rehearsed; it's all organic, what happens on set. When we do shoots with celebrities, we see them as parents first."
