Q: Have you chosen a name yet?
A:
We have a short list of about five names, so we'll see what she looks like, what fits her best. But I have my favorites.
Update: She named her daughter Paloma Louise Lebenzon.

Q: Are you leaning towards ethnic names?
A:
I want a Spanish name, but it's hard to find one that doesn't get screwed up: It sounds beautiful in Spanish, but when someone who doesn't speak Spanish [says it], it's like, Ugh! But, yeah. I want it to have flavor.

Q: Do you plan on teaching your daughter about your Puerto Rican and Irish heritage?
A:
It's funny, I know so much more about being Puerto Rican than I do about being Irish. [My Puerto Rican side is] just much closer to me, because my mother is fourth generation Irish-American. But I'm looking forward to finding out more about it. She just went to Ireland for the first time and found distant relatives, so that's very cool. But, with my family, there's no way the baby will be able to escape her Puerto Rican heritage.

Q: Which family tradition are you going to integrate into your new family?
A:
We go to Puerto Rico every summer. That's a family tradition with my dad that I want to keep going. Some of my favorite childhood memories happened there.

Q: Did you have any fears when you first found out you were pregnant?
A:
Too many! I'm really nervous. I'm really lucky: I have a lot of support from my mother and people on set as well, like Vanessa Williams. She's an amazing mother.

Q: Did Vanessa give you any advice?
A:
Tons, tons. She's constantly on the hustle, and her kids are incredible. They're respectful and smart and kind. So, you know, you see that, and it's like, Okay, this is possible. This can be done. So basically I follow her around and take notes [laughs].

Q: Do you already have a fitness regimen set for getting back into shape?
A:
Well, I found a great person here in New York City at Le Maison. Le Maison works with pregnant women, so I've been training through the pregnancy. Afterward I'm going to continue there. It's important for me to get back in shape as quickly and as responsibly as possible. I don't want to screw anything up. I'm too old for that [laughs].

Q. Did you change your diet while you were pregnant, because you're a vegetarian?
A.
During my pregnancy, it has been much more difficult [to stay vegetarian] because I have really been craving meat. So I make sure it is local, grass-fed, and healthy—as healthy as possible. Otherwise, I stick to vegetarianism.

Q. Are you already making plans for the second child?
A:
Kind of, yeah. I know that sounds weird, and everyone's like, "Oh, yeah. You say that now, but wait until ...". But, yeah, I do want to have another kid, probably relatively soon—not to sound crass—but just to get it out of the way [laughs].
