Sega, for Wii, $30

Here's a game that comes to the rescue of anyone who still finds the Wii's motion controls too confusing. Here, you simply place your Wii-mote facedown on a box or tabletop and tap your fingers on the surface next to the controller. The never-touched Wii-mote picks up the minute vibrations and translates them to action onscreen—which, in this game, can mean running a race, keeping rhythm with a dance beat, setting off fireworks, or any number of other party-fun activities. —Ages 3 and up
