Ingredient: Avocado

The richness of the avocado and crème fraîche take this smoothie to a new level, and the juice of the melon brightens the flavor. This may prove to be the first time your kids ask for seconds of something green.

Honeydew-Avocado Smoothie

Makes 4 big smoothies
Total time: 10 minutes, plus chilling time

  • 1 1/2 honeydew melons, peeled, seeded, and diced
  • 1 avocado, peeled, seeded, and diced
  • 1/2 cup crème fraîche
  • 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 bunch of fresh mint leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
