Whether you're indoors or out, you'll need little in the way of decorations.
Collect any bright pieces you have in the house; pile pillows on floors, throw blankets over couches, and swag saris or other vivid fabrics (like dupioni silk, from $10 a yard, fabric.com) to fashion an exotic, laid-back retreat for guests. Add stuffed or play elephants you already own to the mix.
