One week ahead
Make the Buttercream Icing and the Pastry Bag Frosting and store them in the refrigerator.
One day aheadSet up a low baking table in the playroom or basement. Use drop cloths and vinyl tablecloths to protect the floor and furniture.
Place the flower tips in the pastry bags and fill the bags with the Pastry Bag Frosting.
One hour aheadTake the butter, eggs, filled pastry bags, and Buttercream Icing out of the refrigerator and place everything on a decorating tray. (Check the consistency of the frosting; it may have hardened in the refrigerator and need to come to room temperature.)
