Let It Snow

The "snow" powder is made of polymers (long chains of dense molecules) that expand in liquid. Watch kids' eyes widen when they see that 1/4 cup of water can make a teaspoon of powder ($10 for 100 grams, makes two gallons) grow to snowball-size proportions in just a few seconds.
