Combi USA Twin Sport

$220, Combi USA, Babies "R" Us

Overall score: 4. It's a great lightweight double stroller.

Value: 4.5. It's not all tricked out, but it's relatively inexpensive.

The basics: 22.25 pounds. Good from birth to 45 pounds per seat. 29.75 inches at the widest point when it's unfolded. Collapses to 24.5 L by 16.25 W by 40.5 H inches.

The extras: The stroller features a five-point safety harness, removable child's guardrail with a cup holder, and a multiposition reclining seat. An included infant safety boot makes the Twin Sport suitable for newborns.

Folding and storage: Testers raved about this double's compact fold. Once in a completely collapsed position, the stroller stands by itself and is roughly the size of a large upright vacuum. Opening the stroller is a breeze; parents could pop open the stroller with groceries or a diaper bag in hand.

Pros: The Twin Sport's compact, lightweight design won parents over. The stroller is just 22.25 pounds and fits easily through doorways or down narrow aisles at stores. "I wouldn't want to carry it down a huge flight of stairs by myself, but I can definitely lift it into my midsize SUV easily, and it leaves plenty of room for other things," one tester noted. Swivel front wheels allow for good maneuverability, and while they aren't great over uneven ground, they do fine over sidewalks and bumpy asphalt. Parents also appreciated the wider, comfortable seats, perfect for slightly older children. The breathable, mesh seat covers are easily removed and are machine washable. "It's a great day-to-day stroller and the perfect stroller for travel or trips to the store," one mom said.

Cons: The Twin Sport lost points for its flimsy, short canopies: "They're pretty useless," said a tester. It's storage basket, which is small and difficult to access, even with the seats in an upright position, didn't fare much better. Parents also disliked the lack of an adult cup holder. "If the company had just paid a little more attention to the little details, it would have been amazing," concluded one tester.

Who will love this stroller? Families looking for a stroller that is sturdy enough for everyday neighborhood errands, but that's easy to take along on a trip.
