Q | What do you like best about your room?

A | My bed and my couch.

Q | What do you do on your couch?

A | I jump off it. And I read.

Q | And your bed?

A | I sleep there, duh! My friends sleep on the couch during sleepovers, because they know I am a horrible sleeper and I kick people when I share my bed.

Q | Does your dog like to hang out in your room?

A | Most definitely! Sometimes Lola sneaks onto my bed and steals my stuffed animals.

Q | Does anyone else in the family have colored walls like you do?

A | No, but our TV room has dark orange walls.

Q | Is there a theme here?

A | My mom loves orange!

Q | Your bed is in the corner. Would you ever move it to the middle of the room?

A | I would never have it like that, because it would not be warm. That would be weird!

Q | Is your room always this neat?

A | No way! My mom tries to keep it clean, but I mess it up.

Q | Would you call yourself a collector?

A | Yes. I've been at it since I was about 3.

Q | So what do you collect?

A | American Girl dolls. I used to collect Barbies and Groovy Girls. I still like my My Scene girls. I like to dress my Barbies and Groovy Girls, but I don't like to play with them—they're babyish.

Q | Did you ever think there were monsters in your room?

desk

A | Once, when my mom said it was the devil's birthday to my dad.

Q | What do you do when you have a bad dream?

A | I scream and run into my parents' room.

Q | If you could change one thing about your room, what would it be?

A | I would have a bigger closet and another bulletin board.

Q | What's on your bulletin board now?

A | Pictures and lots of posters of Hilary Duff and other actresses and singers I like. Oh, and any medals I win from ballet or sports events.

Q | What do you want your room to be like when you are a teenager?

A | Maybe it could be bigger and have a TV, and my parents' soft, silky sheets.

Q | If you could have any bedroom in the world, what room would it be?

A | I wouldn't want another room. Mine rocks!
