Q | When you're in bed, can you hear each other sleeping?
E | Through the window, I can hear Christopher clack his teeth and talk in his sleep.
C | My sister sleeps like a log, so there is very heavy breathing coming from her room.
Q | Is there anything that you'd borrow from some other room if you could?
C | Space. I can never put anything else in my room, because it is packed to the brink with stuff.
Q | Who sleeps where during sleepovers?
E | My friend and I sleep over at each other's house. At her house, we sleep on reclining chairs. They are very comfy. When she is at my house, I sleep on my bed, and she sleeps on a trundle bed.
Q | Do you ever do absolutely nothing in your room?
C | Never, unless I feel like doing nothing.
Q | What do you want your room to be like when you're 13?
C | I'd like everything to be useful—like a space for doing homework, a space for playing games, a space for sleeping, and a space for clear space.
Q | What do you want your room to be like when you're 20?
C | If I am still living in this house, I'd like it to extend a little bit.
Q | What do you want your room to be like when you're 30?
E | It could be a pretty pastel color and look out into the sunset. Maybe it would be a library.
