The kid who got to call this enchanting 50-foot-high aerie her own was 12 years old when it was built. Now 21, she says her enthusiasm hasn't faded a bit: "We have parties up there. Most of my friends are guys, and they all think it's about the coolest thing they've ever seen." And she isn't the only adult on the premises who takes advantage of the sky-high sanctuary: Her parents use the two-level hut (equipped with a sleeping loft) as a private nook for reading and hanging out.
