A: Bianca goes to a French school—her inflection is perfect: That, I find amazingly funny. Also I laugh when she is overly dramatic—very often!

A: The morning cuddles and the pet-shop make-believe game—this week Bianca was a turtle one morning, a rat the next—and always puppies and kittens.

A: It usually involves me getting off an airplane and running home to be supermom.

A: Screen time.

A: A bit of both—we flip-flop a lot.
Q: What do you wake up in the middle of the night thinking about?
A: All sorts of things that should never be more important than healing sleep! It's ridiculous!
Q: What do you wish you had done before you had a kid?
A: I feel like I did it all. I just had no idea that I should be grateful for all my free time and sleep.
Q: What is a typical Saturday morning in your house like?
A: Cuddles, pet-shop game, "flat eggs," then Bianca and Roberto go off to Italian class. And I try to do some form of exercise.
