Q: What about your children makes you laugh?
A: Their imitations of me—they are oddly good at it.
Q: What is your favorite family ritual?
A: Hanging out—all of us and our big goldendoodle, Rosie—on our bed before [the kids'] bedtime
Q: What was your most frazzled mom moment?
A: Every weekday morning, when I am frantically trying to get both children dressed, teeth brushed, breakfast eaten, and out the door—while also trying to get myself ready for my day before I drop them at school by 8:15.
Q: What parenting issue do you and your partner disagree most about?
A: My husband is stricter than I am (I actually know he is right; I am just not good at it!)
Q: What is your parenting role: good cop or bad cop?
A: Definitely good cop.
Q: What do you wake up in the middle of the night thinking about?
A: Work anxieties, things I forgot to do and need to do, how fast time is passing!
Q: What do you wish you had done before you had children?
A: Appreciated how young and skinny I was.
Q: What is a typical Saturday morning in your house like?
A: I get up fairly early with the children and make them homemade pancakes, plain ones for Alice and chocolate chip for Gus.
Q: What was your mom most right about?
A: Pushing opera and ballet on me. I hated it as a child, but now I love it—so I am doing the same with my children, despite their complaints!

Anywhere with good weather and a beautiful beach.
...favorite clothing item?
Ahh, so many great ones, but I guess I wear my sky-high, black-patent Louboutins the most right now. They are so high but yet so comfortable, and they go with everything.
