Rebecca Taylor's Maternity Clinic
For designer Rebecca Taylor, the mother of 2-year-old twin girls and a 3-month-old boy, dressing well while pregnant was surprisingly hard. "Everything you'd think would be cute isn't," she says. But by her second go-round, she had it down to a science. Here, her secrets (including lots of nonmaternity staples).

- Taylor's Design
A Bohemian Rhapsody dress from Taylor's spring collection ($435, French Pharmacie, 317-251-9182) and Giuseppe Zanotti sandals with turquoise stones and aqua Swarovski crystals ($1,195, GiuseppeZanottiDesign.com for stores).

- Flaunt the positive
"As soon as you're a little heavy, show your décolletage," says Taylor.
Sheer rib scoop-back tee, $30, American Apparel.

- Wear Cute Undies
Taylor likes hip-hugging boy shorts (and so does her husband).
Cotton-spandex boy shorts, $13 for three, Motherhood Maternity.

- Make Legs Lean
She paired flouncy dresses with opaque black tights: "I just snipped an inch into the waistband on each side."
$43, Fogal, (212) 355-3254.

- Add a long sweater
-
It's forgiving and in fashion: "I wore mine with a T-shirt, leggings, and motorcycle boots."
Cardigan, $58, Madewell1937.com for stores.

- Primp it out
"Pay attention to lip color, and do your hair," she says. "People look up, and you feel better."
La Laque Fever in Spot Pink, $26, Lancôme.
