Maintain an Open-Door Policy
The glass doors between the living room and the courtyard are usually left open, to allow the fresh air and family activity to flow. Tracked-in dirt is a nonissue, because the courtyard gets hosed down regularly—giving the Greens the freedom to use generous amounts of white in the living room.
