We caught up with some celebrity parents to ask, "What's bedtime like at your house?"
Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld
"Very strict!" said Baby Buggy founder Jessica, who noted that she's the tough parent and Jerry's the softie when it comes to bedtime.
"It's bed, bath, and beyond!" said Jerry, who is now the executive producer of NBC's The Marriage Ref, a comedy-reality show to debut this fall. The couple revealed that they play special games with their three children before bed, including a baseball game with their son Shepherd, called, fittingly, Shepherd's Field.
Christy Turlington
"It's kind of pandemonium," the model and mom said of getting her daughter, Grace, and son, Finn, ready for bed. However, she noted that "even when it's hard, all the gems of the day come at that time."
Hugh Jackman
Before bathtime and before storytime, the Wolverine star, who's married to Deborra-Lee Furness, said that there's one crucial component to his evening routine with his son, Oscar, and daughter, Ava: "First we have to run them around!"
Paulina Porizkova
"We always read them a book and then laid in bed with them until they fell asleep," she said of the nightly ritual that she and husband Ric Ocasek had when their sons, Oliver, 11, and Jonathan, 16, were younger. She said it wasn't always easy, though. "The sleep thing is such a nightmare!"
Tracy Anderson
Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow's trainer—who is launching a new fitness website—said she's all about "keeping things special" with her son, Sam, at bedtime. Tracy and Sam, who read Fireman Small together every night when he was younger, said, "I'm a big believer in traditions and ritual."
