When we were still in high school, my closest friend from childhood had two daughters, Annie and Vicki (here 2 and 3 years old, respectively). In a way, I grew up with them and helped to raise them all at the same time. I took this photo one afternoon while hanging out with the girls in their parents' front yard. It so captures their personalities at the time, which remain consistent with who they are now. Vicki (on the right) has always been the reserved one, while Annie is more demonstrative and eager. Just as they were then, they're still best friends today.
