For Mom: Bud Vases
Only seven days until Mother's Day, and we're counting down to the all-important holiday with one of our favorite gift ideas each day. Our first suggestion: the three-bud vase set from Heath Ceramics. Mom can keep it as a set for a beautiful centerpiece or on a window ledge, or she can use the three vases and tray separately around the house. All of the items in Heath's line (which also includes elegant dinnerware) have a handcrafted yet modern feel, and their signature wiped edge allows the natural beauty of the clay to subtly poke through. But don't think we'd suggest a line too precious to be useful--Heath's pieces are completely safe in the dishwasher, oven, and microwave.
