Green Find: Light Saver
One-up the childhood pastime of catching fireflies, and literally trap some sun in a jar. Just open up the lid of this frosted mason jar and place it in direct light, where the solar panel inside will drink up the rays throughout the day. At night, snap the lid shut and enjoy the gentle, candlelight-like glow of your stored sunshine (actually emitted by little LED bulbs). We think it's the perfect safe, energy-efficient night light; each fully charged Sun Jar stays lit for at least six hours.
