On October 2, educational advocacy group Jumpstart will hold their
third annual Read for the Record Day,
with more than 500,000 parents, teachers and children reading Don
Freeman's classic story on the same day, for a record-breaking shared
experience. The event will raise awareness and funds for low-income
education. And in honor of the event, the 1968 favorite is being
re-released with a forward by Meredith Viera and Matt Lauer. Get your
