Clare Crespo: "This is just a SUPERcute cake. The decoration is not overdone. It is made with stuff from the grocery store and it's just fantastic. I give it a million points for the surprising use of the pineapple slices. And I also love the almond slices on the belly. I high-five you, owl baker!"

Bakerella: "Wow! I love the perspective of this cake. I'm sure it was a sweet surprise for the guests who at first saw this huge white block of cake, only to be amazed as they approached and looked at all of the detail inside. Great way to carry the theme through with baseball cupcakes, too."
Clare Crespo: "I have never seen anything like this. I have to say, this one is amazing. A real work of art, I am assuming it must be made by an obsessed fan to have been so inspired. I LOVE that the inside of the cake is decorated. That is tricky! I love that it does not look like a store-bought "fancy" cake. It is so charming and such an involved diorama when you look closely. And how he/she portrays the audience?? Amazing. I love it. Go Yankees."
Now, because the judges were so impressed by all of our submissions (see more birthday cake designs), we simply couldn't end this without giving each one of our 10 finalists something that shows our admiration.
