Let the Kids Rock and/or Roll
Designer Eric Pfeiffer (who formerly worked bent-wood magic at modern furniture company Offi) has launched 10 Grain, his own line of cool kids accessories and playthings--and just in time for holiday splurges. Of the eight products introduced this fall, our favorites are the Log Rocker (above, $215) and Uroll (below, $175).
Both designs re-imagine classic toy concepts, and balance modern styling with lots of actual fun. Pfeiffer has partnered with Paul Smith to create a few fun patterned panels, but solid-colored panels are also available.
Rumor has it spring will bring more clever pieces for kids, as well as a spin-off collection for grown-ups, so stay tuned.
