DIY Lemonhead Baby Shower Invitations

We made these special invitations for a friend's baby shower. The theme of the shower was YELLOW! They got a great reaction and weren't too hard to make either. Here is how we did it.

Lemonhead1

1. First, we designed the invitations on a computer and printed them out on cardstock.
2. Next, we cut them down to the right size and used a cheap corner punch to make the corners round.
3. The cards were tied together with yellow ribbon and then placed on a sweet bed of Lemonheads.
4. Last, we printed the name of the recipient on a label and wrapped it around the lid to keep it shut.

Sources:
Lemonheads in bulk from Ferrara Candy. (It is a good feeling to buy 40 pounds of Lemonheads.)
Boxes and Ribbon from Paper Mart
Full Sheet Label Paper from Amazon.

The most commonly asked question about these is, "How much did it cost to mail?" Most of the invitations we dropped off in person, but we mailed a few. It was about $3 to ship each box. --Jordan Ferney Oh Happy Day

This is a wonderful opinion. The things mentioned are unanimous and needs to be appreciated by everyone.

Most baby showers occur in the last trimester of the mother-to-be's pregnancy stage, however this is not a fixed rule. Advice from a friend or family member can be extremely helpful, and the presence of everyone who attends the shower is a supportive gesture.

What size are the boxes that you used? I am making my invitations similar, and am having a hard time deciding on a size!
