Wallpaper is gorgeous but what happens when your kid suddenly decides she hates pink? Wall decals are perfect for mini decorators with changing tastes: A castle one year, cars the next. We love the pretty ones at My Sweet Muffin.

This Dreaming Spires Playhouse we saw on Coochicoos was created by an English basket weaver. It's truly magical, isn't it? Imagine the kind of make-believe it could inspire...

Any mom of a little girl (or even just those of us who used to be little girls) knows the power of a canopy over a bed. Nothing else is able to transform bedroom into fairytale land quite as effectively. Loving that CafeMom just posted some tips on how to create one in your own home. It's easier than you might think.

Made from polished plywood, this multifunctional Gruyere Play Screen by Stuga would make a playful addition to any kid's room. The holes allow children to play different games: it could become a fort, where they can spy on enemies. Or it could be the kitchen of a restaurant, a country house, or an igloo. And for two children sharing a room, the screen could provide fantastic separation for privacy.

This quilted Princess and the Pea set we saw on Ohdeedoh is too cute for words. Well, almost. We'll just say that it's genius and has "family keepsake" written all over it.

Ever wish you could find that perfect shade of liquid blue ocean you saw in Greece? Or you happen upon the most amazingly yellow lemon and wish you could paint your bedroom furniture that exact color? Now you can do just that with the tap of a key! Say hello to Ben Color Capture, an iPhone Application, that lets you snap a picture of any color inspiration and instantly match it to one of more than 3,300 of Benjamin Moore's paint colors. For color addicts like ourselves, this is our new best friend!
Snap away with your iPhone's camera, zoom into the color and tap the "match" key. You'll get strips of color below the photo--just like the paint strips in the store--and the closest paint match will be highlighted. You can even shake the phone for an entire harmonizing palette based on the original selection.

The app can also locate (via GPS) a Ben Moore retailer nearest you so you can purchase the paint color right away. Talk about instant gratification. We love!
And the best part is the price tag: FREE. Available June 1st for download at the AppStore.

This summer, we're lusting after everything at Tas-ka, the Dutch housewares company known for simple design and pretty Scandinavian fabrics. Here are three favorites...
This vintage wooden chair (28.50 euro) is adorably teeny...
A bread board house (19.50 euro) for bravely eating stinky cheeses...
And their gorgeous cushion covers (28 euro) would brighten up any home-sweet-home.
