It's nice to know that Ohdeedoh is as obsessed with gorgeous modern highchairs as we are. This Henry IV high chair from Sibi (a collaboration between Sirch and Bitzer) is made of powder-coated steel and varnished birch. Dana Brandwein Oates actually did what we all dream about--leaving a high-stress corporate city job and moving to Connecticut to take up pottery. Turns out she had quite the knack for it, and now she churns out tons of gorgeous handmade bowls, plates, vases, even lamps from her home studio. Helping out in the kitchen is the perfect opportunity for kids to develop healthy eating habits and explore the edible side of creativity. The culinary masters at Williams-Sonoma recently launched wsKids, which is jam-packed with simple recipes and cute kid-sized cooking tools and dinnerware (love the rocket spatula and dino tumblers below). It also has instructional videos and a family meal planner with dinner suggestions that will appease appetites of all ages.

Our friends at Design*Sponge posted a fantastic idea for a nontraditional Valentine's Day gift. Using glass etching cream, they created a modern take on the ship in the bottle that would look fantastic on a bookshelf. (As a bonus, roll up a love letter and pop it inside.) We are newly obsessed with Labour and Wait, which we just spotted on Design Mom (man, she's good!) The East London store has functional essentials that are simple and beautiful (case in point, the egg spoons and doorstop below).

Design Mom Gabrielle Blair knows her stuff, and we love the Egg Designs rocker she just spotted.  Lovely!

While trolling Babygadget.com, we saw these great hooks from Kidz Lifestyle, which is in the Netherlands. "Kapstok" means "coat rack" and "jas" means "coat." But with Accroc letter hooks (below), you can spell whatever you want--in whatever language you want. What a great idea to keep towels and mounds of outerwear off the floor.

Former child star Soleil Moon Frye is now a mom of two and apparently serious about giving them a healthy planet in which to grow up. Her eco-friendly shop, The Little Seed, has everything from BPA-free Green to Grow bottles (which we reviewed here) to Nursery Works cribs.

We spotted this genius creation over on Designer's Library: Depending on how you place them, these wooden blocks can spell out "fish" in English and Japanese and make the shape of a fish. The blocks come in other words, too, such as bear, bird, horse, and monkey. How perfect for little bilingual babies.

Somehow we missed this amazing bathroom when Ohdeedoh showcased it the first time around. (They're currently running through the best posts of the year, and we're honored that our Kids' Eye Kitchen is part of their favorite ideas in March.) Anyway, Jeanine covered the walls of this half bath in chalkboard paint, and as potty-training incentive, they wrote something on the wall every time he went, you know, in the toilet. There are reminders to wash hands and quotes from him. Bathroom graffiti worth reading...an excellent idea.

Etsy, the market for handmade goods, is the best place to find....well, pretty much everything. Apart from coasters, toys and a market bag in which to carry everything, we've been loving the clothing for moms and kids. So, this week, we did a round-up of Etsy fashion. See it here.

Our friends over at Apartment Therapy have a beautiful new site design, and they've renamed "The Nursery" to "ohdeedoh." (If you understand the meaning, please enlighten us!) While admiring their new set-up, we also noticed these brilliant pillows from Deseta. And if you're looking for even more whimsy, the company will create custom pillows for you based on your child's artwork.

Forget Sears portrait studios. Take a cue from the Goldberg family and designate an annual family picture day--in their case June 17 every year for the past 30 years. It all flies by so quickly, we love the idea of freezing time for just a moment each year.

Kids should be able to enjoy Eames, too, right? Well, six students from Philly's University of the Arts think so. They recently created a cheeky high chair and toilet seat from classic Eames chairs. Apparently, the students wanted to make high design less snooty and more accessible: "These once iconic, elite forms are liberated from their old, restrained image. The project is not a critique of the Eames, but rather a fulfillment of their original ideals."

This year marks the 100th anniversary of Charles Eames's birthday. We're sure he would have found this a great birthday present.
