KID-STYLE CONTEST RULES

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS CONTEST. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

Contest begins 12:01 A.M. ET 8/14/07 and ends 11:59 P.M. ET 9/24/07, when all entries must be received. To enter, log on to www.cookiemag.com/go/kidstyle, complete the online entry form, and submit it as instructed. All entries must include (i) a digital photo of your child in an outfit of his/her own imagination (file must not exceed 500 kilobytes); and (ii) the first name and age of your child. Entries will be placed by Sponsor into the following four (4) categories: 0-2 years; 3-5 years; 6-8 years; 9 years and older. The photograph must be the original work of the entrant and must not infringe the rights of any third party. Only one entry per person/e-mail address per child/age bracket-multiples (fraternal or maternal) are the only exceptions.

FIRST-ROUND JUDGING CRITERIA All entries will be judged by a panel of judges from the editorial staff of Cookie magazine based on the following two criteria, the first weighted for 2/3 of the total score and the second for 1/3: (i) Creativity (e.g., does the photo show the child's personality rather than the parent's? Is it playful, unique, stylish?); and (ii) Attitude (e.g., does the child look like she's "owning" the look?). The three (3) nominees in each of the four age brackets with the highest overall score will be declared Potential Finalists. In the event of a tie, the Potential Finalists will be selected based on overall look and originality.

SECOND-ROUND JUDGING CRITERIA Twelve (12) finalists will be named on or about 10/1/07, and users will be invited to vote for their favorite. One vote per person/e-mail address. The finalist in each of the four (4) age brackets with the highest number of votes received by 11:59 PM ET on November 18, 2007, will be declared the Potential Winner in his/her respective bracket. The finalist with the highest number of votes total will be declared the Potential GRAND PRIZE WINNER. All decisions of the judges are final and binding in all respects. If any Potential Winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within three (3) days, or the prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, such Potential Winner forfeits all rights to any prize, and an alternate Potential Winner may be selected.

PRIZES The four (4) Kid-Style Contest winners (one (1) in each age bracket) will receive a $1,000 Crewcuts gift card (good toward any Crewcuts or J.Crew purchase, subject to certain restrictions, including expiration date). The one of those four (4) determined by our users to be the Grand Prize Winner will also receive round-trip coach airfare for two (2) (one for the winner and one for the child) from the major commercial airport nearest the winner's primary residence in the continental U.S. to New York City, one (1) standard hotel room (double occupancy) for two (2) nights at a hotel chosen by Sponsor; and participation in a Cookie magazine photo shoot. Winner may at Sponsor's discretion have his/her photograph and story featured in a future issue of Cookie. The approximate retail value of the prize is $2,500, depending on exact itinerary. Actual value may vary based on airfare fluctuations and distance between departure point and destination. Grand Prize Winner and legal guardian must be available to travel on the same itinerary, as selected by Sponsor. Ground transportation, meals, in-room or other personal charges at lodging (e.g., minibar, movies), telephone calls, gratuities, incidentals, and all other expenses are not included. Trip may be subject to certain restrictions and blackout dates. Trip must be taken to coincide with a Cookie photo shoot. If winner is unable to travel at this time, winner forfeits the prize and an alternate winner will be chosen. If, in the sole judgment of Sponsor, air travel is not required due to winner's proximity to prize location, ground transportation will be substituted for round-trip air travel. If winner is not the child's legal guardian, written permission must be obtained from the legal guardian before the prize is awarded.
