The Greenhouse

The Baby & Me and Expecting You program, held semiannually in spring and fall, was the first of its kind, and the spa has fine-tuned its approach since its 2003 debut. Set inside a storied 42-year-old mansion, the program now offers an impressive roster of guest speakers, including pediatrician and slumber guru Marc Weissbluth, M.D. (Healthy Sleep Habits, Healthy Child); a wide range of fitness classes; and an over-the-top menu of beauty treatments—all in four surprisingly unhectic days. Expect major pampering in a luxe, women-only setting. And thanks to a comprehensive profile that you fill out before arrival, your baby will want for nothing, from an endless supply of size-3 Huggies to strictly organic pureed yams.

Details: The four-night package includes meals, fitness classes, seminars and lectures, three massages, three facials, a manicure or pedicure, a makeup consultation, and nannies.

Cost: From $3,850 for a first-floor poolside private room to $5,185 for a first- or second-floor private suite. (Prices exclude tax.)

Child Care: Nannies are provided for each guest.

Getting There: Fly into Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. A driver will pick you up for the 20-minute ride to the spa.

Les thermes de spa
Spa Belgium

The legendary waters of these thermal hot springs have been drawing visitors since the 14th century. The state-of-the-art L'Institut Maman-Bébé mixes solo scrubs and facials with a fizzy mother-baby bain carbogazeux, gentle exercise classes focused on core toning, and unlimited pool access. Treatment times max out at an hour, accommodating even the most demanding breast-feeding schedule.

Details: The five-day package includes all treatments, a nanny, and lunch each day. It does not include lodging, but the spa is connected to the Radisson SAS Palace Hotel.

Cost: 695 euros (about $916), which also entitles Dad to one free day at the baths (he can lunch with wife and baby for 20 euros a day). Book well in advance, as the year-round program accepts only five mother-baby pairs a week. A standard double room at the Radisson on weekdays starts at $197 a night.

Child Care: The spa has a nursery in an adjacent building; parents can come and go as they please. Each infant is assigned a nanny, who consults with the mom to learn about eating and sleeping habits, favorite toys, and binky affinities.

Getting There: Fly into Brussels Airport, then take the hour-and-a-half train ride to Spa.
