What it is: A holiday resort located in the middle of the Lanin National Park overlooking Lácar Lake.
The rooms: The 33 stone-and-wood, rustic-yet-comfortable cabins have panoramic windows and a fully equipped kitchen with dishes, a stove, an oven, a microwave, and a coffee maker. The one-room cabins can accommodate four or five people with twin beds in the living room, and the two-room cabins can accommodate six or seven people with an additional bedroom and bathroom. A three-room cabin is also available.
Amenities: Caleuche, the resort's restaurant, serves traditional regional cuisine, and its large windows frame a view of the Lácar Lake. The wine bar, which also has an excellent view, has wine by the glass, fondues, smoked meats, and more. The resort also has a clubhouse, a swimming pool, and a sauna. The kids will enjoy the DVD room and game room that has Ping-Pong and table football.
Activities: The hotel travel agency will help you setup tours and activities. Summer activities include horseback riding, rafting, and sightseeing. In the winter, the hotel will handle everything ski related—from equipment to admission. You can also try to catch a chamber-music concert, an art exhibition, or a wine tasting.
